GEORGIA- A father and son have finally been arrested and charged with the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
Authorities from Georgia announced the news that 64-year-old Gregory McMichael and his son Travis McMichael, have both been charged with murder and aggravated asssault.
The fact that these 2 men were seen on a 28 second video killing an unarmed black man who was simply jogging, and didn’t get arrested has taken the nation by storm, and has caused a lot of controversy.
One of the men was blocking a path so that Arbery wouldn’t go jogging on it before another man came out of a truck. An argument turned into an Arbery getting into an altercation with one of the men, grabbing a shotgun that was going to be used to kill him.
Arbery was unarmed, and the men told police that they thought the victim was a burglar.
