Father Charged After Toddler Is Seen On ‘Patrol Live’ Waiving Gun Outside Home

INDIANA- A father has been arrested after his toddler son was seen on live television waiving a gun and wandering unsupervised outside of their apartment, according to reports.

The Beech Grove police, a department that is on the show “On Patrol: Live” began an investigation after seeing a neighbor’s Ring doorbell footage, which captured the toddler waiving a gun over the weekend.

Video shows the toddler, wearing just a diaper, pointing the gun and even pulling the trigger.

Luckily, there were no rounds in the chamber.

The neighbor reportedly contacted police, after seeing the footage.

The father, 45-year-old Shane Osbourne, told police that he was asleep and sick when his son left the home, and claimed he didn’t have a gun in the home because he’s a felon.

Police later found a gun with 15 rounds inside, but none in the chamber, according to WTHR.

Osbourne is facing child neglect charges but may face additional charges since he’s a felon.
