LOUISIANA- A father shot and killed his son’s accused killer in what’s being called “Street Justice”.
The New Orleans Police Department said Bokio Johnson, 46, fatally shot one person and injured another person at Chef Menteur Highway and Providence Place on March 23, reports Fox 8.
Johnson killed Hollis Carter, 21, who was out on bond despite him being charged with killing Johnson’s son, 18-year-old Caleb and his sister Breyiana Brown, 25, in March of 2021.
Carter, who was charged with two second-degree murders, had been on his way to court when he was allegedly killed by Johnson.
NOPD said they responded to a shooting and found a woman and a man with gunshot wounds.
They were both rushed to a hospital where the woman was listed in critical condition and the male later succumbed to his injuries and died.
The woman was taken to a local hospital in a critical condition while the man was found to have suffered a gunshot wound to the dead and was pronounced dead.
