Fifth Harmony took to Twitter to let their fans know that after 6 years together as a group, they will be taking a “Hiatus” so that they can pursue solo careers. Here is the statement that they put up:
The group were contestants on the second season of “X Factor” as solo artist but were made to be a group by the show. The group remained together, even after losing on the show they took off to climb the charts, and that girl group aura we haven’t had was present. Member Camila Cabello was the first group member to go solo, and has been doing very well on her own as she’s been winning awards, and climbing the charts herself. I wish the group the best as they begin their new journeys.
