ILLINOIS- Five children were killed in a fire that tore through a home after their mother left them home alone.
Firefighters found the bodies of the children inside of their home after recieving a call around 3:45 a.m. on Friday.
Two fo the children were found dead inside of a bedroom and the other three children were found dead on the kitchen floor, reports FOX 2.
The fire started after their mother left them alone to go pick someone up from their job, police say. The unidentified mother and the other adult were found outside of the home.
It’s unclear how the fire started, or if charges will pressed against the mother.
