FLORIDA- A police officer was fired this week after he was caught on surveillance footage dragging a handcuffed woman into a jail, authorities said.
Gregory Damon was fired by the Tampa Police Department on Tuesday after an internal investigation, according to The Post.
Damon and a few other officers responded to the Tampa Family Health Center on Nov. 17 and arrested an unidentified woman who was allegedly sleeping outside of the property and refused to leave.
The same woman was arrested by Damon back in Oct. at the same property.
“Throughout the incident, the female repeatedly used vulgar and obscene language,” police said. “Rather than remaining professional, Damon himself made rude and derogatory comments to the arrestee.”
Damon was fired on Nov. 18.
