Florida Rapper Charged After Rapping About Murder In Song, Police

POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA – A rapper has been charged with murder after bragging about the alleged killing in one of his songs, police said.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, John McGee, 33, who was recently released from prison, was found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his back.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he stayed for 24 days before dying. Police said while alive, he refused to take his medication and didn’t cooperate with authorities, according to WESH Orlando.

Now, police say 19-year-old La’Darion Chandler, an up & coming rapper allegedly shot McGee as he was running away from the crime scene.

Chandler allegedly made a song and music video in which he bragged about the deadly shooting (which has since been removed from social media platforms).
