FLORIDA- Police arrested a woman after she allegedly waved a loaded handgun at a McDonald’s drive-thru after she didn’t receive a free cookie.
Amari Bente Hendricks, 24, was booked into the Seminole County Jail on Feb. 16, according to reports.
Hendrick’s was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing bodily harm and resisting an officer, a report read, according to WSB-TV.
An employee at the McDonald’s said Hendricks was allegedly yelling at employees. She was reportedly given a free cookie but continued to argue with the employee.
It was then that Hendricks allegedly grabbed a loaded handgun, inserted a magazine and went on to rack the slide.
The employee said she heard two click sounds associated with someone “chambering a round.”
Hendricks then allegedly parked her car in front of the McDonald’s and attempted to open the front door, which had been locked by employees.
Hendricks forced herself into the restaurant and allegedly struck one of the employee’s multiple times while forcing him out of the restaurant, according to a report.
Police said the employee had scratches and to his face and neck.
