Former Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber has died at 38.
Barber reportedly died on Wednesday.
The former RB was reportedly found dead in his apartment by Texas police after they conducted a welfare check.
There are no further details surrounding his death.
Barber was taken for a mental Evalution in 2014 after being detained by police.
The Dallas Cowboys released a statement which read:
“We are heartbroken by the tragic death of Marion Barber III. Marion was an old-school, hard nosed football player who ran with the will to win every down” the team tweeted. “He had a passion for the game and love for his coaches and teammates. Our hearts go out to Marions family and friends during this difficult time.”
