Former Disney Star Orlando Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Charges

OHIO- Former Disney star Orlando Brown pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault charges.

Brown was arrested and charged on Thursday over a domestic dispute with his brother.

The actor, best known for his role in the Disney show”That’s So Raven” was arraigned on Friday in court and charged with aggravated menacing, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The former actor, known best for his role in “That’s So Raven,” was arraigned Friday in Lima Municipal Court and charged with aggravated menacing, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Police say officers were called to a home after a report of a fight in progress. When they arrived, they allegedly witnessed Brown and arrested him on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, according to reports.

The home where the fight took place at owned is by Brown’s brother Matthew.

Matthew told police that he was allowing Brown to stay at a home he was renovating because he is brother is currently homeless and didn’t want him to go to a shelter, but things took a turn for the worse, according to Radar Online.

He told police Brown began acting “crazy”, accusing him of sexually assaulting his wife. Matthew said that was followed by an incident where Brown allegedly attempted to attack him while holding a hammer and a broken-off knife blade, Radar Online reported.
