Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, who appeared on “Drake & Josh” pleaded guilty on Wednesday to charges of attempted child endangerment.
Bell, 34, entered his guilty plea via Zoom, The Associated Press reported.
He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Bell met a young girl online several years ago and “developed a relationship”, according to prosecutors.
The victim, who’s now an adult, met Bell in 2017 at one of his concerts, in which the actor created a risk of harm to the teen. She contacted Toronto police in 2018 and reported the incident.
Bell will be sentenced on July 12 and faces up to 2 years in prison.
