French Montana’s driver robbed at gunpoint outside of hotel

MANHATTAN, NYC- Rapper French Montana’s driver was robbed at gunpoint early outside of the Dream hotel early Sunday morning.

The 18-year-old driver was approached by two masked gunmen around 4:50 a.m. as he was standing outside of the hotel, reports Page Six. The suspects began punching the victim and attempted to take his $40,000 Cuban link chain.

The driver refused to give up his jewelry, and that’s when one of the two men fired a shot into the ground, sources tell Page Six.

Police say the victim handed over the pricey chain, and his $30,000 Richard Mille watch. Both suspects then fled the scene.

French Montana had been staying at the hotel.
