GEORGIA- A hotel worker is accused of raping a drunk woman who went to him after getting locked out of her room, police said.
The alleged victim told police she was visiting a friend at the Red Roof Inn & suites on Saturday when she became “highly intoxicated”, police said, according to the Newnan Times-Herald reported.
The woman urinated on herself in the elevator as she was going to the front desk to tell the clerk that she was locked out of her room after her friend left the hotel.
The attendant, identified as 31-year-old Jermaine Oswald Soo-Tim, told the woman to follow him to the office so she could clean herself up.
Surveillance video captured both going to a room with no camera’s where they stayed for about 20 minutes, in which Tim allegedly sexually assaulted the woman.
The suspect then took the woman to the common area, where she is seen sitting down on a chair to put her pants on.
She only had her underwear and shirt on at that time.
The victim can be seen following the suspect before she called police.
When police arrived at the hotel, they called a number that was posted at the front desk. Police say a man who identified himself as “John” refused to go back to the hotel.
A hotel employee told police Soo-Tim was on shift during the time of the alleged assault.
Soo-Tim was arrested and charged with rape and kidnapping.
