Giants Legend Lawrence Taylor Arrested After Failure To Register As Sex Offender

Former Giants player Lawrence Taylor has been arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender, according to documents obtained by NBC and ESPN.

The 62-year-old is accused of failing to tell authorities that he had changed his address, which is required of sex offenders.

Taylor was ordered in 2011 to register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute after a 2010 arrest. The former NFL player claimed that he had believed the 16-year-old girl was 19.
