Governors Ball drops DaBaby after homphobic, HIV/AIDS rant; is he cancelled?

NEW YORK- Governors Ball has dropped rapper DaBaby from performing at their music festival.

The music festival, scheduled for September, dropped the controversial rapper from it’s lineup on Monday.

This comes a day after Lollapalooza dropped the rapper.

The organizers released a statement which read:

“Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind.”

“We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York City the greatest city in the world. Thank you to the fans who continue to speak up for what is right. Along with you, we will continue to use our platform for good.”

He has now been dropped from 3 music festivals after he went on a homophobic and HIV/AIDS rant last weekend at Rolling Loud.

DaBaby released a statement on Instagram, blaming social media for him being partially cancelled.
