NEW YORK- Governors Ball has dropped rapper DaBaby from performing at their music festival.
The music festival, scheduled for September, dropped the controversial rapper from it’s lineup on Monday.
This comes a day after Lollapalooza dropped the rapper.
The organizers released a statement which read:
“Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind.”
“We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York City the greatest city in the world. Thank you to the fans who continue to speak up for what is right. Along with you, we will continue to use our platform for good.”
DaBaby released a statement on Instagram, blaming social media for him being partially cancelled.
