PHILLY- A group of teens were caught laughing on camera as they savagely beat an elderly man to death.
James Lambert, 72, was attacked by the group of seven teens around 3 a.m. on June 14 as he was walking across Cecil B. Moore Ave., police told NBC10.
The disturbing video, released by police Friday, shows Lambert trying to walk away from the group as they followed him across the street before one of the male suspects strikes him from behind with a cone.
Lambert fell to the ground, and a girl can be seen throwing a cone at him, as another girl is recording the attack on her phone.
He attempted to walk away from the group, but the same female grabbed a cone, chased him down and threw it at him again while some of the teens laughed and smiled.
Lambert was taken to a hospital where he died a day later from his injuries.
Police have made no arrests.
