Did Tidal inflate Beyonces and Kanye West’s streams?

A Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv has done their own investigation and wrote in their article found that Beyonce’s Lemonade” and Kanye West “Life Of Pablo” streams were allegedly inflated by hundreds of millions of streams. The newspaper says they got this information from a hard drive that allegedly had “altered streaming data”. Tidal denied these claims via a statement right after the claims, but now Tidal’s CEO Richard Sanders has given an updated statement saying the claims are still false, but they have “engaged an independent, third party cyber-security firm to conduct a review of what happened and help us further protect the security and integrity of our data”. Tidal also said in the statement that if this information is true, then they were probably hacked. The statement was via Rolling Stone.
