TEXAS- A football player is recovering after he was allegedly brutally beaten by three teenagers, including his teammate.
The victim was taken off of a ventilator and has been walking on his own, according to his brother’s Facebook post on Monday.
The 16-year-old suffered skull fractures, a broken clavicle and other multiple injuries, reports KRIV-TV.
The victim was allegedly lured by two of his friends and another teenager, where they beat him outside and slammed him onto the concrete several times.
The attack happened after a party and was allegedly over a girl.
Three suspects were charged for the Dec. 3 incident. All three were on the same football team as the victim.
The suspects have been identified as two 17-years-old’s and 18-year-old Logan Huber.
The victim’s brother says two of the teens attended the prom with his brother.
