TEXAS- 16-year-old Deshaud “Dee” Williams who was a high school football star collapsed and died in his brother’s arms on Fri, but he wasn’t playing football.
In fact, Deshaud was playing tag with his twin brother Dashaud. His brother told NBC DFW, “We started jogging a little bit more and he was like, ‘Da, I can’t breathe,” as he cried..
Dashaud then added “I was like, ‘You good? Come on, we’re going to get home.’ And he was like, ‘I can’t breathe. I’m about to pass out.’ And I ran to him and he fell to his knees and fell on his back.”
An Ambulance arrived, but Deshaud died on his way to the Hospital.
There is no cause of death as doctors are trying to figure out how a healthy teen could just collapse and die.
This story is truly devastating, and what makes it worse is that Deshaud, who’s a football player at his school, had recently had his heart checked out by doctors and everything came back fine.
