HIV-Positive shelter empolyee charged with sexually abusing 8 immigrant boys

PHOENIX, Arizona: Federal authorities are saying a former youth worker at a Phoenix facility for immigrant youths allegedly sexually abused 8 boys on his watch. This comes in the midst of Trump’s policy which has targeted immigrant parents and has ripped their children right from their arms. According to WPIX 11, court documents show that Levian Pacheco is facing several charges for several incidents that allegedly happened between August 2016 to July 2017 at a Southwest Key facility in Mesa, which was first reported by ProPublica. Court documents state that authorities are allegedly that Pacheco performed sexual acts on two boys and molested six others. The boys were between the ages of 15-17 at the time. The court documents also stated that Pacheco is HIV-positive and that some of the boys refused to test for HIV. Pacheco has pleaded not guilty to the allegations. This case also came one day after Fernando Magaz Negrete, a worker at another facility was accused of molesting a 14 year old girl. They’re still children that have been lost in the system and mothers who have not been reunited them. Cover photo: Via TRS
