Hornets’ James Bouknight was arrested Sunday for driving while impaired days before the start of the 2022-2023 season, according to a report.
Bouknight, 22, was arrested by Charlotte-Mecckenburg Police around 1:51 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report, reports the Charolette-Observer.
The Hornets released a statement regarding Bouknight’s arrest:
“We are aware of the incident involving James Bouknight and are in the process of gathering additional information. We have no further comment at this time.”
Bouknight was practicing on Monday but didn’t speak to reporters.
