Infant died of starvation after mother overdosed inside of home

TENNESSEE- An infant was found dead, after his mother overdosed from a mix of fentanyl and crystal meth.

According to The Tennessean, Nicholas Crowder died from starvation and dehydration, despite his 3-yesr-old sister attempting to feed him.

Police found Nicholas and his mother, Tiffany Spears, 32, on February 9. The 3-year-old girl was found alive, and running around the home. Both bodies were discovered after Spears’ probation officer saw her lifeless body through her window and called 911, The Tennessean says.

A report states that Spears was dead for days in her bathroom, as her son was strapped into a car seat in the bedroom.

The report also stated that both deaths were accidental.
