Infant dies after teen mom left to celebrate B-Day for a week
UNITED KINGDOM- A mother has been charged in the death of her infant after she abandoned her to go party.
20-month-old Asiah Kudi died of starvation, dehydration and the flu, according to a report.
Authorities say that Verphy Kudi traveled as far as 150 miles to celebrate her 18th birthday when she left her daughter to die in December of 2019.
Kudi admitted to manslaughter in a British court this week.
Kudi’s family claims they had no idea that her daughter was left alone.
