Instagram star ‘Zombie Angelina Jolie” gets 10 years in Iran prison for expressing herself

IRAN- A woman who went by “Zombie Angelina Jolie” on Instagram has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for expressing herself on social media.

19-year-old Sahar Tabar, whose real name is Fatemeh Khishvand, was sentenced to a DECADE in prison after she was charged with corruption of young people and disrespect for the Islamic Republic.

Her lawyer confirmed her sentencing with the Daily Mail.

The Instagram star was also charged with blasphemy and inciting violence when she was arrested in 2019, along with 3 other Instagram influencers but her charges were dropped.

She contracted Covid-19 in April, but a request to have her released was denied.

Medical records show that Khishvand suffers from mental illness.

Activist Masih Alinejad has even reached out to the real Angelina Jolie, who is a humanitarian activist, to ask for her help in freeing Khisvand.

Khishvand’s Instagram account was deactivated.
