Woman arrested for coughing on $35,000 worth of grocery food

PENNSYLVANIA- Police arrested a woman who allegedly coughed on $35,000 of food in what’s being called a “very twisted prank.”

According to WYOU & The New York Post, 35-year-old Margaret Cirko was hit with charges that include threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction, making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

Cirko went to a small supermarket on Wednesday and coughed on fresh produce, a meat case, a section of the bakery and other grocery items according to the co-owner, who posted it to his Facebook.

Cirko allegedly yelled “I have the virus, now you are all going to get sick.”

The produce will was thrown out, and Cirko is being tested for the Coronavirus.

Cirko’s bail was set at $50,000 and taken to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
