Two women accused of beating a Checkers manager because they were waiting too long

HOLLYWOOD. Florida- Two women have been arrested after being accused of beating a manager at a Checker’s.

According to their arrest report, Elsa Oliva, 24, and Kristina Velez, 31, were waiting at the Checkers drive-thru when they became upset because of the long line of other customers.

Police say that the women cursed the manager out through the monitor, before Oliva walked up to the window and begin to bang on the drive-thru window. The manager warned her that she was calling the police, but it turned worse.

Oliva became more upset and reached into the window, grabbing the manager by her shirt and began punching her head. She also grabbed a cash register and a computer monitor, attempting to throw it at the manager.

It was then that Velez switched places with Olivia and began punching and slapping the manager.

Both women face charges of burglary with assault or battery. Oliva is also facing a criminal mischief charge.
