Rapper Ja Rule has a new app out, and it’s very similar to the FYRE app.
He announced his new app on Monday, which is the Ice Connect (ICONN) app, where you can go on a website, and book him to perform at your event or other celebrities and he’s receiving a lot of from people.
What we do at https://t.co/QVahZDPFmR is simple we connect buyers directly with artists and their management teams no middle men… and we take NOTHING FROM THE ARTIST…

Now, this is very similar to the FYRE app, providing a variety of celebs from Cardi B, Childish Gambino, model Amber Rose and more.
The FYRE app also allowed people to book artist from Iggy Azalea to A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. This app, is what led to the FYRE festival in the Bahamas, that turned into hell for the folks who paid money for the festival that was made out to look better than Coachella but obviously wasn’t.
The FYRE app was founded by Billy McFarland and Ja Rule, who partnered with him, despite saying, after the festival turned fraudulent, that he trusted someone with his vision and that when he asked questions, “he was lied to.”
So it’s impossible for me to TRUST someone with my vision and them completely fuck it up??? And it wasn’t my money so when I asked questions I was lied to… https://t.co/clsRhbCMQS

Hulu & Netflix recently premiered two documentaries each about the FYRE festival. I myself, just watched the Netflix documentary last night and was in shock at how many people McFarland scammed out of their money.
Ja Rule’s new business venture was actually shown at the end of the documentary. Here’s a photo from a tweet, where someone was getting at the rapper.
As for Billy McFarland, who scammed investors out of $27.4 million, he’s currently serving a 6 year prison term at a New York prison. When he’s released, he’ll be on probation for three years.
