KENTUCKY- A lawsuit has been filed against rapper Jack Harlow a year after a deadly shooting at a nightclub in 2021 that left one person dead.
The suit has been filed by Abelson Barthelemy, who claims he was injured in the shooting that happened at the Vibes nightclub, reports whas11.
Harlow was at the club when Kasmira Nash, a bartender at the club, was fatally shot.
The rapper’s DJ, Ronnie O’Bannon, was charged and indicted in Nash’ death, but Barthelemy claims Harlow could’ve prevented the deadly shooting.
In the lawsuit, Barthelemy claims that Harlow and his crew bypassed security at the nightclub, which allowed O’Bannon to carry a gun inside. Barthelemy also claims that Harlow should have known O’Bannon was armed and if he did know, he had a “duty” to stop it, according to whas11.
Barthelemy is suing for money he claims he lost on medical bills, work, because of his injury and for any money he may lose in the future because of the shooting.
