James Field Jr., 21, has been found guilty by a jury, for the murder of Heather Heyer, 32, a counter protester who he ran over during a protest in Charlottesville.
Fields was also convicted of nine other charges, including aggravated malicious wounding and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Field, who traveled from Ohio to Charlottesville to attend the “Unite the Right rally, killed Heyer and injured 40 people when he plowed his Dodge Challenger into a crowd of counter-protesters. His horrific act was caught on on video, as many were recording.
It seems as if Field’s was upset, as his victims were going home in celebration, that the authorities had shut down the rally before he struck them with his vehicle.
This Charlottesville rally was brought on by racist, who were upset that that city leaders were trying to remove a Confederate monument.
