Martial Arts actor Jean Claude Van Damme’s son has been sentenced to probation for holding his friend at knifepoint.
Nicholas Francois Van Varenberg, 22 was sentenced to 18 months of probation after pleading guilty on Wednesday from charges that stem from 2017, where he held his friend at knifepoint, according to authorities in Arizona.
According to AZFamily, Varenberg prevented his roommate from leaving their apartment with a knife. Varenberg was reportedly upset with his then roommate for answering their apartment door.
Police received a call to the residence, finding Varenberg by following a trail of blood to the apartment, but left only to receive another call and return to the apartment where Varenberg was then arrested.
Varenberg was also facing charges of kidnapping, possession or use of drug paraphernalia, and possession or use of marijuana but since he pleaded guilty, those charged were dropped.
