LAS VEGAS- ‘Jersey Shore’ star Ronnie Ortiz-Margo avoided jail in his domestic violence as part of a plea deal.
According to TMZ, Ronnie pled no contest to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest. He was placed on 36 months of probation and he must donate $20,000 to the Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles, which is an abused women’s shelter.
Ronnie was arrested and charged with 7 misdemeanors last fall after he allegedly threatened the mother of his daughter, Jen Harley, with a knife. He then took their daughter and locked himself inside of a room in their home.
Police arrived at the home, breaking down the door, tasered Ronnie and then arrested him after he was resisting.
He has denied some of these claims.
