Rapper Jewell Caples, the ‘First Lady of Death Row Records’, has died at 53.
The R&B singer who worked with artists that included 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, and more in her career reportedly died on May 6.
The news was announced by former Death Row Records bodyguard Reggie Wright Jr., but there no confirmed cause of death.
Caples had announced two months ago that she was hospitalized after doctors found 8 pounds of fluid in her heart, lungs and legs.
She was released from the hospital on March 21.
