Judge Grants Bail For Rapper Boosie Badazz, Release Expected Soon

SAN DIEGO- A judge granted bail Tuesday for rapper Boosie Badazz after his arrest last month in in San Diego.

Boosie, 40, was charged last month by state prosecutors for allegedly being a felon in possession of a gun following his May 6 arrest. The rapper was arrested during a traffic stop while filming a music video and after a performance at a nightclub.

Boosie is expected to be released soon from federal custody and will have to follow several conditions, including no travel outside of the U.S.

He’s expected to appear back in federal court next week.
