According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a federal judge has ordered that the transcript of Cardi B’s deposition be made public.
A male model filed a lawsuit against the reality star turned rapper in 2017 after noticing that she had used his image for a mixtape.
Kevin Michael Brophy Jr. says had asked the judge to file certain documents under seal in order to oppose Cardi’s attempt to try and have his case dismissed.
Brophy said that he wanted Cardi’s deposition transcript sealed because she fears that her deposition could possibly be “sensational and gossip-worthy.”
The judge gave two craps and decided to deny Brophy’s request to make Cardi B’s deposition unsealed.
Yikes..
Brophy is suing Cardi B for $5 million. He claims Cardi used his pict “in a misleading, offensive, humiliating and provocatively sexual way to launch her career in music and entertainment.”
