Judge Reinstates Rapper Kodak Black’s Bond In Drug Cases

FLORIDA – A judge decided that rapper Kodak Black can be released on bond in his two drug cases Friday, according to Sun Sentinel.

The “Gremlin” rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, is currently jailed in a Miami Federal detention.

His attorney is hoping to have him freed as early as next week as he’s expecting a baby boy, which is his fourth child. He plans on naming his son Prince.

A drug possession charge was dropped against him last week, but he still has ongoing drug trafficking case.

Kodak was arrested in December after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his car with white powder around his mouth.

He’s still facing a tampering with evidence charge.
