NEW YORK, N.Y- The judge in charge of overseeing the racketeering trial against two Tekashi 69 associates has ruled that prosecutors can play some of his music videos for the jury.
Judge Paul Engelmeyer agreed to let prosecutors play snippets of Tekashi’s “GUMMO”, “Billy” and “KOODA” to use as evidence in their case against Anthony Ellison and Aljermiah Mack.
Mack, Ellison are the same men charged in kidnapping Tekashi69.
Tekashi69, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, will be testifying against both Mack and Ellison as part of his deal.
In addition to the music videos, the judge ruled that the jury would not hear about Tekashi’s prior conviction on a charge of use of a child less than 17 years of age in a sexual performance.
