Juelz Santana is now facing 10 years after admitting to gun charge

Rapper Juelz Santana, 36, whose real name is Laron James may be facing 10 years after admitting to gun charges on Thursday.

According to NJ.com, Juelz pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges, basically admitting that he indeed brought a loaded weapon to the Newark Liberty International Airport.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Jersey, Santana pleaded guilty  to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and for carrying a weapon on an aircraft in federal court.

Santana’s sentencing is set for December 12th and he faces up to 10 years in prison for EACH charge.

Back in March, Juelz Santana fled without his I.D., after TSA employees were going thru his belongings and found that he was attempting to travel to San Francisco with a loaded handgun in is carry-on bag according to Port Authority.

Santana was banned from bearing firearms after he was arrested in in 2011 after a search of his recording studio in New Jersey turned up with two loaded 9mm handguns and 17 bags of Marijuana.
