Rapper Juice WRLD’s autopsy hasn’t determined his cause of death..
The 21-year-old rappers autopsy was conducted on Monday, and his cause of death is unknown. The Cook County’s medical examiner says more test need to be done in order to find out how he really died.
Here’s their statement:
“The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that additional studies are required to establish the cause and manner of death for 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins,” said Natalia Derevyanny, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner, who emailed this statement to USA TODAY. “Additional studies include cardiac pathology, neuropathology, toxicology and histology. The cause and manner of death are pending at this time.”
There’s also been a huge twist surrounding his death.
According to Chicago police, they were called to assist federal and state agents on Sunday at Chicago’s Midway Airport because they received info on a jet that “contained a large amount of narcotics.”
When they arrived, K-9 alerted them that there were drugs inside luggage from Juice WRLD’s jet. Alongside the luggage were members of Juice WRLD’s crew who were all denying that the luggage belonged to them.
According to Chicago police, Juice WRLD then went into cardiac soon after.
Chicago told USA Today “During the investigation, a 21-year-old male suffered a medical emergency, causing him to have a seizure.” They performed Narcan on him, but he later died.
Juice WRLD, whose real name is Jarad A. Higgins, may have allegedly swallowed a ton of pills in order to avoid going to jail..
