Jussie Smollett has been charged with faking his own attack.
Chicago police charged the ‘Empire’ actor after a grand jury heard the evidence that Smollett made a false report about being attacked. Prosecutors then charged with him with a felony count of disorderly conduct.

The actor said in his original story that he was attacked in Chicago at around 2 a.m. by two white makes, who wore MAGA hats, poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck.
Police found the two men, who ended up being Nigerian. Police interviewed them, and the men confessed to them that Smollett had rehearsed his fake attack with them. There is also surveillance video showing the two brothers at a local beauty store days before, purchasing two plain red hats.
The actor drew a lot of attention from fans, celebrities and even rappers like T.I. who called for a revolution, believing that Smollett was attacked by Trump supporters.
People are in shock as to why he would do something so stupid. Personally, I knew he was making it up and spoke about it on my podcast.
