Actor Jussie Smollett who claims he was attacked last week in Chicago, has made his first public appearance in California last night.
The “Empire” actor read from a small piece of paper and told the crowd “I was bruised, but my ribs were not cracked, they were not broken. He also added ‘and above all, I fought the f**ck back.”

The actor/singer claims that he was attacked last week, while he was at a Subway restaurant but the story isn’t adding up, especially to police officers.
Smollett says that as he walking out of that chain restaurant at around 2 a.m. in the morning, two MAGA wearing, racist, homophobic white males yelled “This is a MAGA country” before attacking him.
These men allegedly attacked him, poured bleach on him and worst of all, put a noose around his neck, that he was later seen wearing at a condo, as “a tie”, according to police.
Police have identified two men that they calling “persons of interest”, but there is no evidence that shows these two men attacked Smollett. In fact, what police found after looking through hundreds of video footage, is that these two men were on the opposite side of the street but were not seen walking next to Smollett.
There is also another huge problem, and that’s how Smollett says he was on the phone with his manager when the two men allegedly yelled “This is a MAGA country.” Police need both of their phones to prove this and both men are refusing to turn their phones into police, which has many people wondering why?
