“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett who said he was attending the Image Awards, skipped out and also lost.
Yikes.
Smollett was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category but lost to Jesse Williams of Grey’s Anatomy in the non-televised portion of the awards on Friday. He has been seen in Los Angeles, which has some thinking that he’ll probably show up to the Image Awards final awards presentation, which will held tonight at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and will be air on TV One.
Smollett has been all over the headlines, especially after his 16 felony counts were dropped last week, which was something many didn’t see happening, especially Chicago police, who say they want an apology from Smollett.
