VANCOUVER- A man was caught on cellphone footage slamming his adult Pitbull on a sidewalk was arrested, but not charged.
CTV reports that the viral video landed on the desk of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Vancouver.
Witnesses say that the owner of the dog even attempted to kick the dog after he slammed him on the concrete.
Before the dog was slammed on the sidewalk, onlookers say the dog attempted to attack a bicyclist, because the owner had ordered him to do so.
When witnesses began to shout at the unidentified owner, he told them that the dog was his property, and he could whatever he wanted.
Police took this man in for questioning, but he was release, even after officer’s witnessed the fear in this dogs eyes.
The dog’s owner is being investigated by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Vancouver, but he still has the dog which clearly makes no sense.
