Kanye West says he “prays” for Issa Rae, after throwing shade at him on SNL

Rapper Kanye West took to Twitter on Sunday, tweeting that “Saturday Night Live’ “uses” black people, and that he’s “praying” for actress Issa Rae after she hosted the show this Saturday.

“Ive always said SNL uses black people to hold other black people back My heart goes out to Issa Rae I’m praying for her and her family I know that the twenty years of service that I’ve paid in the entertainment field has furthered our ability to be more successful.”

This tweet about Issa comes after she threw shade at Kanye on SNL this past Saturday during a skit, where she played a lawyer for the NAACP, who swore to vote for “everyone black”, but when it came to Kanye, who’s running for POTUS, she said “Kanye? F**k him”.

Issa Rae isn’t a big Kanye fan, as she threw shade at the rapper in front of his wife Kim Kardashian West at the CFDA in 2018, where she told the audience:

“I’m about as fashionable as Kanye is black. “Only when it’s convenient.”. “That joke was my choice, just like slavery.”

Her comment came, after the rapper’s bizarre appearance on TMZ, where he said “Slavery was a choice.”

Now, hold on Kanye..

The rapper, who’s currently running to become the POTUS, performed on SNL in 2018, along by Kid Cudi and others. He definitely didn’t dislike SNL that much, as they gave him a platform to go on a rant, which was cut short during his performance.
