Kanye West just scored another loss..
His Donda Academy is shutting their doors for the rest of the academic year after the rapper’s antisemitic comments and support for the ‘White Lives Matter’ movement, TMZ reported.
Emails were sent out to parents on Wednesday by principal Jason Angell.
“Our leadership team will be working diligently to assist all families during this transition, ensuring that every scholar has what they need to succeed in their next community in a prompt and gracious manner,” the emails read.
Angell told parents that the school’s closing will go into effect on Thursday, but the academy plans on opening its doors again next September.
Kanye West, whose legal name is Ye, founded the academy earlier this year, naming it after his mother Donda, who died several years ago.
