Kay Flock’s Attorney Releases Statement After Rapper Is Charged With Murder

NYC- Rapper Kay Flock’s attorney has a released a statement after the rapper was arrested and charged with murder this past Thursday.

Attorney Scott Leemon said in a statement to XXL “Arrangements were immediately made with NYPD once I learned he was wanted. As to the charges levied against him, we have begun our own investigation into these allegations.” He continued, “More importantly, considering the DA’s significant disclosure this morning that the NYPD received a tip saying someone else is the shooter, we demanded the DA’s office provide prompt disclosure of the videos referenced in the complaint and more information on the tip.”

Authorities say the 18-year-old rapper shot and killed 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez in a gang-related incident in front of a Manhattan barber shop.

Key Flock allegedly walked by the barber shop, opened the door and asked Hernandez what he was looking at. Video surveillance released by the NYPD shows a man, who’s supposed to be the rapper exiting the shop as Hernandez walks behind him.

Key Flock allegedly shared some words with the victim and walked away only to turn around and shoot the victim in the neck and back.

Authorities aren’t releasing many details about the case.

The victim’s family says Hernandez wasn’t in a gang and didn’t know the rapper.
