ATLANTA- A KFC employee was arrested and charged after allegedly shooting a woman in the restaurant’s parking lot.
Investigators said the shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the fast-food restaurant in Savanah, Channel 2 Action News reports.
The female victim was transported to a near-by hospital with serious injuries, according to the outlet.
Sherman Hendrix, 23, was charged with aggravated assault after police said he allegedly shot the woman in the KFC parking lot.
Police said during a press conference that the shooting wasn’t random, but there is no clear motive.
