LAS VEGAS- A rapper was charged after allegedly killing his friend and writing a song about the murder, police said.
Kenjuan McDaniel, 25, was arrested on August 29 on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon and violation of probation.
On September 18, 2021, officers responded to a call about a man being shot around 6:33 p.m.
When police arrived, the alleged victim, Randall Wallace, was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, KVVU Las Vegas reports.
Police say a man was seen fleeing in a vehicle after the shooting.
Witnesses came forward and provided details to police which led to Wallace’s arrest, according to the outlet.
On July 17, 2023, a detective saw a music video on YouTube posted by ‘The Biggest Finn 4800″. The song was titled “Fadee Free”.
The song’s lyrics included “I be the reason why he’s dead/ we still taunt him when he die/not the reason he’s dead/so celebrate the reason why his momma cry.”
The lyrics included details there weren’t released to the public, police said.
