Lil Uzi Vert Takes Plea Deal In Assault Case Involving Ex-Girlfriend

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert took a plea deal in an assault case involving his ex-girlfriend.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office tells TMZ that Uzi pleaded no contest in court to one count each of felony assault with a firearm and misdemeanor injury to a girlfriend.

Uzi was sentenced to 3 years of formal probation, 1 year of treatment for mental health and substance abuse, a 10-year criminal protective order and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

The rapper took the plea deal after prosecutors charged him with three felonies, assault with a firearm, criminal threats and domestic violence. He was also charged with a misdemeanor of carrying a loaded firearm.

Uzi’s ex, Brittany Byrd, filed a police report in July, which claimed that he put a gun to her stomach and hit her.

Byrd was at a cafe with rapper/singer Saint JHN when Uzi jumped out of a Cadillac Escalade and confronted the singer, which led to a fight in front of a crowd of people, TMZ first reported.

Byrd and JHN were reportedly discussing a business project.
