Lil Wayne Settles Lawsuit With Ex-Chef Weeks Before Trial

Lil Wayne’s former chef has agreed to drop her lawsuit against the rapper.

Morghan Medlock has decided to settle out of the court with the rapper on March 5, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

Medlock says she will be filing to officially dismiss the case within the next 45 days.

The trial that was set for July 8, 2024 will now be vacated, the outlet reports.

Medlock sued the rapper after working for him for two years.

In her suit, she claimed she was fired after she asked for time off to take care of her child. Medlock said she had taken a trip to Las Vegas with the rapper and his crew for Memorial Day weekend.

She said she worked that holiday weekend, serving meals to Lil Wayne and his crew before finding out that her 10-year-old daughter was injured.

Medlock said she traveled with Wayne to the airport, when it was time to leave. They boarded a private jet, but the pilot refused to let him on due to him allegedly smoking.

That’s when she decided to book her own fight to head back home, claiming she informed Lil Wayne’s assistant.

A few days later, Medlock says she received a call from his assistant who said Wayne said, “This isn’t going to work out.” and that she would no longer work as a chef for him.

Medlock was seeking $500,000 in damages.
