Rapper Lil Wayne is being sued for allegedly punching his former assistant on his private jet during.
Wayne’s former assistant claims he was punched when he attempted to intervene during an argument between the rapper and a pilot of a private jet, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
The assistant, whose name is Andrew Williams, says he was forced to get in between the two to stop them from fighting.
The alleged incident happened on June 10.
Court documents state “Mr. Andrew Williams attempted to prevent the verbal altercation from becoming physical.” The assistant claims he put his arm around Lil Wayne and the pilot, only for the rapper to allegedly “punch him with a closed fist in the jaw”, according to The Blast.
Williams says he exited the plane and went to a local hospital in L.A. for urgent treatment. He says he suffered “great harm”.
The former assistant claims he “has and continues to be damaged emotionally and physically damaged” and Wayne’s “outrageous conduct” caused him to suffer “humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress.”
The former assistant is also suing for wrongful termination.
